As a healthcare provider, I am committed to advancing early detection and prevention I pledge to actively support and promote early screening for Type 1 diabetes. I recognize that early detection of Type 1 diabetes can:

• Reduce the risk of DKA
• Educate patients and empower them to be prepared for the future
• Open the door for patients to benefit from available treatments or research opportunities to delay disease progression

By taking this pledge, I affirm my role in reducing delays in diagnosis and improving lives through early detection and awareness.
